Offering the comforts of your own home along with gourmet dining, The 4-D is a proud icon in South Texas belonging to the Frank Duperier Family.  This ranch has been under intense management for over twenty years.  As part of that program, year long supplemental feeding of high protein pellets, planting of food plots, intense harvesting of spikes and cull bucks, plus the addition of new genetics from over 10 different well known south Texas ranches has culminated into a hunting paradise that has produced an outstanding deer herd certain to satisfy anyone’s expectations.

As a pampered guest you will stay in your private room with your own bath.  Our early Texas house was constructed in 1986 and is made of limestone rock with a tin roof offering a panorama of slightly rolling hills over a beautiful lake in front of the house.

Having personally hunted numerous ranches in South Texas and I have always been amazed at how poor hunting blinds can be.  What could be worse?  You get stuck in a blind four feet off the ground with a 50 yard view across a 10 foot sendero…or worse, you get put in a 10 foot high blind with a broken floor that shakes when you have a 5 mph wind.  Well, you need not worry any more.  All of our blinds are constructed of metal, fully enclosed for protection from the wind and rain, and have oil field tubing cemented in the ground rising 25 feet in the air for views that are breathtaking.  Handrails are provided when ascending 30 steps or more to ensure safety at all times.
